Austenland Eyeroll
This was my perpetual state while watching this movie. I was truly embarrassed for my sex. Had I known Stephanie Meyer was attached, I would have never seen the blasted film. Good gawd. I will now balance things out by watching something with lots of bullets and one-liners.

Powerhouse Animation and EPIC MICKEY!
The word is out, and there's some great stuff to say! Check out Powerhouse Animation's blog announcing our involvement with DISNEY'S EPIC MICKEY - the latest edition to the Mouse's story, helmed by the talented game studio, and our neighbor, Junction Point Studios! Powerhouse Animation has been lucky enough to be directing and producing the game's 2D cutscenes...

The brave little tickler
This week we FINALLY did a LOTD for Jason Yandell, aka Thor. He's been in and out of our lives at Powerhouse, and now he's back part-time, so we jumped at the opportunity to caricature this gentle giant. He's about 7ft tall, has long, blonde hair, and is probably the quickest to laugh at the studio. Heart him!

Charlesfeld
This week's Luck of the Draw was to draw a coworker in the style of a famous caricaturist. Out of the bunch I chose Al Hirschfeld. He is a FAVORITE of mine, and I only had about 10 minutes to spare and his style was simplest. :) This is Charles, our audio guy, who refuses to wear headphones. Hear all kinds of crazy sfx/noises from his room.

cereal spoof
My prompt for Luck of the Draw was chosen! I asked that people make up their own or spoof a cereal box cover. The site Cereal Killers was the main inspiration. http://idigcerealkillers.blogspot.com/ Just looked like fun! So here's mine!

Whataburger
I had to do a quick lunch today, so I ran to Whataburger. I didn't capture the situation at all, but my fingers were itching to draw something. These 2 burly guys came in, looking like they had come off a construction site. One is about to sit down at the larger table on the corner, but his buddy stops him and is all Duuuude, Etiquette, man. I was really surprised, but soon amusement took over, because the only tables left were those tiny individual tables in the corner. These guys looked like giants. And sitting NEXT to each other was classic.
